Bomberman Jetters is quite literally the best game-to-anime adaptation I can think of. Not only is it better than the game it was based on, but it's kino of the highest order as a standalone story.

Jetters is kino ngl the console game felt kinda half-baked, but the gameboy game serves well enough as a Bomberman to play on a handheld.
At least the minigame one, I haven't imported the one with a story mode.

Western cartoons are more into lore and character depth than they ever have been before. Jetters is kiddy shit with like two standout moments whereas in like Steven Universe they were going hard pretty much every arc.

Not really, it's just Generation with worse level design and Generation was already a step down from 64. Definitely the weakest of the 3D-style Bomberman games for that reason

I never played Jetters. But I remember thinking Generation was a step down from BM64. So I trust you know what you're talking about. It's sad to hear they took another step down after Generation.

Yeah the level design in Jetters is just pressing the same switches to progress the levels again and again. Sometimes they get daring and make you open a door by switching to MAX. Generation was a step down from 64 but it still felt a bit creative in how your bombs interact with the environment. Jetters just gets rid all of that.
Also Jetters probably has the worst voice acting in the series for the English version. You can see that as either a positive or a negative.
