Well first off, amphoreus wasn't a unique creative story, it was simply a copy version of fc in a different light with even less depth or sense, solely betting on it's sale value by it's tourists fans who gloat it even though the story it's based on (ER and EE) are the worst arcs of Honkai Impact 3rd.
Secondly, characters have no selling points. They're just there. You have no reason to like them or root for them.
Thirdly, elysia was the main push with cyrene having no difference from her and just being copy pasted while others were meant to hide behind and let her carry them which she couldn't simply because she has nothing going for her either.

No matter how many stories elysia and fcs get, they'll always be extremely bad and 3rd rate simply because the premise and characterization for them itself makes no sense and is too depthless to stand on it's on or even make a decent stand alone story. It's not even capable of that.
