SSL client auth only identifies the console class, it doesn't grant entitlement. CDN access is controlled by signed URLs that expire and are generated by authenticated servers, not raw TLS. It literally can't be a "bug", Nintendo would have to be using compatible encryption keys between S1 and 2 which is not only not what they're claiming but also ridiculous.
Unless they are deliberately making false statements to throw off Nintendo this is a load of bull. Even if that is the plan it's still retarded because anybody who knows anything about security would just look at it and laugh.

ignoring the fact this isn't how nintendo's CDN handles requests at all. Games are sent in encrypted format. Switch 1 would simply lack switch 2's encryption keys.

The Switch was not hacked easily. It got hacked because Nvidia fucked up and left a really bad hardware exploit in. Software wise, the Switch is insanely secure which is why there's still no way to hack non-V1 Switches. That's the main reason people are dooming hard with the Switch 2, they don't have the hardware exploit and they never even figured out out how to truly hack the Switch 1.

Part of what helped Switch emulation was having an unfixable day 1 exploit that gave them basically full control of the system which sped things up hard and the Switch chip was already well documented. Switch 2 doesn't have the former and for the latter, it has a custom chip this time around. Switch 2 emulation won't happen until either the very end of the system's life or afterwards like normal. Switch 1 really tricked people into thinking having real emulation during a system's life is the norm when it was an insane exception.

The handheld PCs aren't great at Switch 1 emulation desu, especially the somewhat more strenuous titles. It wasn't great on my Steam Deck. I recommend just doing desktop switch emulation instead, or just buying a switch if it's cheap enough

Generally speaking emulators tend to skew their functionality towards the most desirable games and everything else be damned.

I was kind of convinced that this was real as a programmer because I saw a weird grid on the screen of the mario kart world video, which didn't make sense.
Then I watched the intro and you can clearly see the grid is part of the game.
This is 100% fake, the audio subsystem won't slow down the audio, and if you did you would at least correct the pitch because otherwise at this slowdown it sounds like a creepy pasta (or just disable audio, it's not important).
There is not a single glitch in the videos that couldn't be created with a shittification filter (I thought the grid was a glitch, but I was wrong).
