Why the negative reviews? Are the reviews people who can't beat the game or review bombing because of the clothing/fanservice which is pretty mild? I thought the game's supposed to be harder more action oriented game than direct souls game and it is much more lethal than something like Elden Bore, I kind of like it already and I'm staunchly anti-chang games usually but this game's take on the topic intrigued me already. (I'm playing with Japanese voices though since they gave me the option, lmao.)

I can understand if the game is too hard for review-bros and frombroken gamers who need co-op to get through a game like this. The game actually runs well in the 80-110fps frame rate on my more than chinese rent denizens costing computer.

I have a 7900xtx and 7950x3d and it causes my pc to become a space heater. It looks pretty good but runs like shit, seems to have minor input delay, and the gameplay itself is janky.
One example that really fucking bugs me is how enemies can hit you as soon as their attack animation STARTS. As if their weapon becomes a damage box as soon as their ai decided they would start swinging. This isn't bad like lies of P where they wind up for 3 seconds to swing down on you for 0.05 seconds, it's worse. The weapon becomes a damage box INSTANTLY during the ENTIRE animation. Some of the mobs don't get hit stunned by your swings and since swinging nudges you forward this is even more egregious. It seemed like a bug because no way it was intended.
I got it on gamepass so didn't cost me anything, deleted it in 30 minutes.

the game is actually pretty good. the bad reviews are just because of bad nvidia drivers resulting in poor performance. it's performing really well with my 7800xt, ~60-80fps at max settings, or 120-160+ with frame gen.
