The game is set in an age long past its prime. The giants region was razed and destroyed to completion as it was the main and most challenging adversary to the golden order. Who went to a great degree to deform their home. Keep in mind that the giants are like all fire based, and that it was like turned into a snow zone

I've beaten this game 3 times with 3 different faith playthroughs one blackflame then bloodflame then frenzyflame i have like 200 hours in this game im lowkey sick of it but for some reason I'm not i guess I really like the variety in pyromancy in this game
