>>716398419 (OP)But Kratos not only did not improve, he regressed. He became to cowardly to admit that, while he might have harmed people and gone too extreme, what he ultimately did was justified and right. Self-improvement would be solidifying his principles, examining his actions, and going, "Next time I will minimize loss of innocent life, but I will not hesitate to do it all again." Instead nu-Kratos runs away, makes it all about him, cries, and goes, "I should have just let the Olympians torture innocent people and make all of Greece their toddler playpen for all of eternity! I was wrong to fight to against the overblown god children!"
Kratos, for everything he did that was fucked up, was right. His enemies were evil, by every definition of the word. And, no, it was not the box being opened that did that, or else you have to ignore the thousands of years of fucked up shit, which includes all the fucked up shit done to Kratos and his family, by the Olympians prior to that. Kratos freed a people. It was at great cost, to everyone, including himself. And it is easy to judge him after the fact for being "too angry" at the injustices he endured, and that he saw others endure. But at the end of the day he was a fucking man. Not a god. Not a child. And not a faggot little cuck who gets the Olympian bull ready when it is says, "I am going to fuck your wife to death."
