>>716447342It's not really convoluted, it's just a bunch of gabbing before saying, "Kris has free will within the rails of a larger narrative (the game you lost script).
Also this thought example is to show you that in that gap, Kris could technically do anything. If you think of it as a script where he washes his hands, and finishes washing his hands, he can do anything he wants in-between.
But if you also applied this logic to the couch scene then it basically comes up to this:
>Kris is talking with Noelle>YOU appear>Gap. [Kris can do anything within his free will in this time.]>YOU rape NoelleThen logically the scene would only possibly end when he rapes Noelle. So there wouldn't be any point to resisting or fighting back, even if he doesn't want to do it.
Really though, you can categorize this as pure cope to explain why Kris allows you to do things he doesn't want to do.
Personally I don't see how someone who so easily usurps your control, defies your orders, and alters them to his benefit can be considered totally under control. I also don't think you can obtain MORE control just by BEING SUPER DUPER EVIL. Because you, as a player, aren't doing anything that would justify such an evil-based powerup. Between the rape and Snowgrave, nothing happens.
