i'm extremely tempted by the 8bitdo arcade stick

The Mayflash F700 goes on a sale a few times a year - it's a bit more expensive than the 8bitdo one but worth it.

That said, you're good either way since it's a good stick. You'll probably end up modding it with import parts within a year or two anyway

I use an 8Bitdo stick. It's excellent for the price. 110$ it's Wireless, USB and also can work on numerous Console and PC Titles. Fighting Games and even Shmups.

8bitdo stick with sanwa buttons and lever is perfect

they used to sell them included but i think now you gotta do it yourself
Anonymous No.716466195
>>716464056
i like mine
if you're willing to go through the very minimum effort of modding it with better parts, it's a good option.

Leverless are noobs

All of the actual pros use sticks

I think you do, but 8bitdo makes it easy to replace thankfully.

Don't, I got a quanba ages ago and it's still good. Any fightstick without a good lever is basically worth less than a shoebox. If it doesn't have a sanwa dont bother. It really makes a huge difference, obviously you wouldn't play vidya on a shitty Chinese gamepad, so why would you pay for a fightstick that's even shittier than that.

8bitdo arcade stick comes with Sanwa clone parts and is compatible with Sanwa originals and any other related part
Obviously yes you shouldn't NEED TO modify your stick out of the box for it to be good, but 8bitdo represents a solid "close enough", especially for first timers or people who want an easily modded stick
Anonymous No.716466917 >>716467115
>>716466697
If you're going to modify the stick then just buy a stick that isn't shit. Sanwa parts are expensive. You can get a big ass comfy obsidian quanba for cheaper than an 8bitdo tinkertoy with replacement lever and buttons. It's not "close enough", it's a fake peripheral for ripping off dumb boomers who are gunna mash quarters through arcade games for an hour to satisfy their midlife crisis for a day before they go back to drinking.

Unironically they've got the right spirit if they're using it for arcade accuracy while dumping a lime wedge into a bottle of beer

arrowkey was pretty effective when I did XvSF online flash back in the day.

That said, the up-down/middle can be a right pain if you're doing 360's and the like. I'd rather it be a line like ASDF, but having to learn the "piano" of skipping AD for SF (up/down) or rebinding it until it's comfortable probably isn't worth that line.

i just use a cheapo hall effect keyboard + split numpad
instantly cleaned my inputs up after using a stick all my life, wish i kinda did this sooner.
