I hate the autistic lesbian from my college DnD group because she refused to learn the rules or engage with the game and exclusively went off topic because she only wanted to Socialize, and she wound up killing the game. And then, she started hitting on the other two girls in the group who had BFs, and that caused the friend group to disintegrate too.
I don't hate all autists or lesbians. Just her, specifically, because of what she chose to do. I'm wary around others with her traits, cautious to see if they'll repeat her mistakes but it's not right to hate them until they've proven a reason they're deserving of hate.
This extends to hating people because they're part of a system or culture. "All Cops are bastards" "all blacks are criminals," and such are wrong. Hate the player, the individual, not the game. And even if 90% of those players in the game are deserving of hate, it wouldn't be fair to jump to that conclusion and start hating on the ones who aren't until you've got a damn good personal reason to do so.
