I liked it a lot.
The early chapters have a LOT of dialogue since it's trying to set up the world, but once you reach chapter 5 or so it goes down to a much more manageable amount.
Due to the path choosing system you can do about 2 playthroughs where most maps will be entirely unique, so it's got a lot to do.

Considering it's meant to be the gacha story but taken wholly on its own with nobody else (except the OT1 cast because uh) I sincerely doubt it's getting the collab characters.
Which is a shame, since they're all in-house so there's no licensing reason for them to be excluded (but then look at the Mega Man release that cut MH and DMC costumes, there's precedent already). Who knows, OT2 got a random update a year later with some fanservice stuff, it could happen again. DLC is more likely though if anything.

Im really not sure, because it reminds me of the fiasco with ark aquatica where the devs released a dlc on the old engine. I mean seriously, compare the footage from OT0 with OT2 and youd think OT0 came out years before OT2, instead of later. Plus, the fact that its essentially just a rerelease frrom the gacha and it destroys its established formula of 8 MCs by giving you 30 characters and a self insert MC really turns me off. I quit the gacha after finishing the main story and just before it got sold to netease, who then made it worse with an AI translation. I really did like the story and 8 character parties so this will be great.
