after almost a year what is the current /v/erdict on the dlc and more so on this finale boss

How does this shit make sense narrative wise when Radahn physically exists in the lands between as a rot infected rabid dog and you kill him?

great music (except radahn phase 2 which is the only From track I've disliked enough to remember), a few great bosses, relatively empty world, and i don't agree with how obscure the ways to access some of the major areas were. 5/10

2 or 3/10 on release. i know they patched him but i don't see myself replaying the dlc any time soon so idk how he is now.

Miquella resurrects Radahn by putting his soul into Mohg's dead body.

The fight is just an execution test and isn’t that fun to mess around in. Could be in DLC and nothing would change besides how guarding and status effects work.

The lore having to do with everything else is actually great, all the stuff with the dragons, Marika/Messmer and the Hornsent, and the Yemir lore dumps about space and Metyr is cool, but everything to do with Miquella except his followers sucks and reeks of last minute rewrites

Not fun, just frustrating. I think for the same reason as malenia: the character simply can't keep up with him. If you had a more responsive character like sekiro or khazan maybe he'd be great.

I liked the DLC, it was beautiful. I played the pot prison in a lightning storm, absolute kino. Bosses were the worst in any fromgame though. The rollslop insult got to them. Only fights I enjoyed were the Mausaeom ghosts, Bug Preist, and the Rhino.

I played through the DLC twice, once on release and again a couple of months later. I quite liked it, good music and some good bosses, but exploration felt worse than the base game.

As for Radahn, the hate was justified on release but fighting him again after the nerfs and with the deflecting hardtear was fun. I'm usually against nerfing bosses in these games, but this one was clearly for the better.
