I will never not be mad that the golden genius, the one who managed to invent a tool that does something even Marika and the Elden Ring can't, remove the influence of the gods, including the Frenzied Flame which according to actual lore melts your god damn soul into nothing

It should have been Godwyn. It should have been a resurrection plot like was implied. Kill Radahn to restart fate and the stars movement to allow for an eclipse.
And Miquella should have been allowed to make his own ending like what was originally planned in the base game.
