The only thing that matters is driver support. I doubt if any single person wants any of the new features in nu Windows.
>>717044851
The cycle is a meme. Old Windows had a lot of driver issues and sensitivity. 7 had the least problems, was "modernish" (but not soulless) but kept all the theme options. Ever since 8, Windows became a live service instead of a single product that they support.

I'd like the better HDR support and handling, but I have a program I use for that already (AutoActions), so I'll wait to "upgrade" when I damn well please. Has literally nothing else that's better than 10 for my use case and interests.

Because my tower PC somehow is not compatible.
I just got a W11 laptop yesterday and I already configured it just as I did 10. Thought it would be a worse experience form all the DOOMposting. W11 really is just W10 with curved edges. The only issue I had was on some legacy software Net2.0 requirement that apparently isn't installed OTB. 5 minute issue.

The car has a notable "input lag" between the moment that you move the steering wheel and the moment the wheels react. If high input lag can make you lose in games imagine what it could do on the road at high speed surrounded by retarded drivers and obstacles.

It is. But if it doesn't happen often enough, they won't give a shit or issue a recall. This is just what happens when trying to replace mechanical and electrical parts with software. The "development" is theoretically cheaper because you can just rewrite some code, but the limitations and problems are insurmountable in some cases. I actually wrote software for electrical inverters a long time ago, and they were hacky pieces of shit because we were limited by the speed of a processor and not the instantaneous nature of tripping/controlling via purely electrical components. But businesses loved buying it because it was cheaper in the short run.

Remember when people said Windows 7 sucked ass and they were never leaving XP because of how shit it is? Remember when people said W10 is beyond unusable shit and they're sticking to XP and 7? The amount of people who pretend like anyone like 7 or 10 for years is insane, especially when you have people defending 7 and 10 when they were both considered as bad as Vista and 11 for years.
Anonymous No.717058456

Well, it's simple, really. There is just no need to be an early adopter of anything, much less mission critical stuff like an OS, and people on the internet just let their emotions flare and to say BS. Migrating OS should be a slow and graudal process anyway.
If one has no need to update, why would them? Especially when M$ expects billions to rebuy their entire PC for 11.
