No game that cannot be immediately replayed and enjoyed equally if not more so is good. Games are meant to be won, not experienced or solved. This means there is always room for optimization and improvement, which stems from a combination of freedom and challenging obstacles. Everything else exists in the realm of movies and puzzles, not real video games.

This is absolutely true. You can sort out 99% of shit games by looking at what's boring on a second go. The reason NES games are so replayable is because they were made to be extremely challenging in lieu of making them long being impossible, which is why you have people who enjoy spending hundreds of hours to shave 2 seconds off their mega man 3 speedrun today. You can always tell someone wound up on the wrong board when they put things like story and aesthetic over gameplay.

I haven't bothered replaying a game right after finishing it in give or take 15 years.

I don't get what people's beef is with this line, is there something wrong with the word "peak"? Like mountain peak, no?

I don't replay games. There's too many games I haven't played. I feel sorry for autists that only play 1 game.

>beef is with this line
There is no beef, CG is unironically a very funny anime and Oguri is the most based retard we've gotten in years. It's no wonder the show had the highest ratings of its respective season in both Japan and the West and was immediately greenlit for a season 2.

>There's too many games I haven't played.
Only tourists rush through games to "catch up." If you do not play games properly your input on them will have no value. Despite playing thousands of games, I would rather talk to someone who played one game thoroughly than someone who rushed through many games to catch up to me. Find a game that's actually worth playing for real.

What would happen if a really slow uma was set as the only front runner in a race? Say Haru Urara in a medium turf track. Would the fastest pace chaser become a new front runner or would the race turn into a walking match?
