I remember having fun with Quake Champions in 2018, when it was paid early access. It was a good game in the beginning. But then they kept making it worse with each update, then they killed the performance, it lost 90% of the players, then they made it free to play and the game died.

It wasn't a MOBA, it was Quake but characters had abilities. So it was more of an Overwatch, but not gay and it still played like classic Quake.

the quake champions that exists today is a lot different
its quite good actually and they completely nerfed the abilities to the ground so they do jack shit
thing is, most people who stuck by it became so good that you get instagibbed the moment you walk in so its hard to get good at it

Ah, sweet memories. It was insanely fun and helped to spswn many great games on Quake III engine (like Jedi Knight II or Enemy Territory, not to mention the mods for Q3A itself).

idtech 4 is kind of beyond what kex can do, the most recent title that it runs is ss2
I think it will be quake 3, sam villareal the guy that made kex has been re-xosting stuff about a q3 remaster
although I can think of better idtech 2/3 candidates for a remaster

All the females in the Quake 2 multiplayer are very well endowed but I think the style of that game was a forerunner for the Frank Zaretta inspired Quake 3.
