there's no reason to play remake. remake exist because studio is lacking creativity and realizing that their idea wont sell at the same time, so they resort to older IP/brand and remaking them again for the sake of profit and money to stay alive. People who buy remake product and consooming them are equally retarded, or probably even more retarded than those developers because they bought the same thing twice and paid for it 'twice' more expensive than the original game

I think the blue curtains and green light, while being symbolic, are a horrible example to use for symbolism in general. It's easy to explain that they're there to highlight his envy and the depressed view he's looking at it all through, but when you tell a class of kids to write a few pages on something so simple everyone's going to fucking hate the very concept of symbolism and go through their lives thinking all it is is reading way the fuck too far into simple details, not about how the simple details can set the scene.

Midwit take. Sometimes you just want to give the reader an idea of the environment so they can conjure an image in their heads as they read. >The curtains were blue
>Marxist Literary theory: the curtains represent the established role of the economic elite, and how they can afford more than blue. The elite can buy red, green and even white linen, which is comparably more expensive.
>Psychoanalytic theory: The curtains appeared blue due to the empathy shared by the protagonists outlook on society. The certainty of the color is not important, but the protagonists perception of color is, uniquely shining through the rays of depression and misadventure.
>Structualism: The curtains are blue. They have no mechanical use outside of telling the protagonist their lived experience is part of a greater simulation of icons and ideals. We accept the blue curtains because we value a society build on organized constructs such as color.
Post-structuralism: The curtains are actually blue because they imprint the long history of man's desire for iconicity in fashion. His struggle to achieve creative freedom and mythological purpose is evinced not only in the color, but in the fact that these are drapes as well.

I believe the main take away is that there is a dual burden to self-evaluation. You need to know the right answer to know whether you answered incorrectly. So what we're really seeing is that the more knowledge you have the better you are self-evaluation. Until the top right which could be explained as the top performers overestimating their peers. Since these are percentiles so everyone else's performance affects yours. There's probably more but that's what I remember being the take away.

Good writers know that setting a scene is as important as the actions of the characters, because the clearer the mental image the more engaged and immersed the reader is. While not all details are necessary or pertinent, if the color of the curtains affects the overall color/mood/feel of the room then mentioning said color is relevant to setting the scene and is thus important even if the color itself is just that, a color, rather than a metaphor for something else.

Mario RPG is the perfect example. They even kept the exact same art style which was surely extremely difficult to do because the original was only sort of a 3D game and was designed around that. In terms of gameplay they just sped up the turn based RPG slog. And they even added some extra boss fights and some high quality cut scenes.

>but it's too easy now
The game was already incredibly easy, that's not why you play it. You play it for the story, characters and music.
