do you know why spray pattern exist in the first place?
no, it's not so that you can learn and abuse them and then call it "skill".
counter-strike at the very core was design to be as un-fun as possible - slow movement, slowdown on jump, extreme weapon spray - those all serve one single purpose: to give the modding devs a chance against people who had actual skill.
problem is, the dev underestimated the autism of cs player and being able to learn spray patterns. and when they found out about their mistake, it was already to late to change without upsetting the low IQ autists.
non-random spray patterns are basically a relic from a time where modding devs where dogshit at their job and concentrating on making the game less fun to accommodate to their tastes.
making spray patterns true random would force players to never spray because it would be ineffective as hell - as it should be in a tactical shooter.
