I hope the Switch 2 sells badly in the long run. I loved the Switch but they got too cocky during it last years and it's now specially notable with Switch 2 (really high price, few games, not enough graphical power, still the same drifting Joy-Cons).

But alas, consoomers will consoom. I know several people that bought one and they now complain that they don't have anything else to play. Keep in mind, the physical edition of Mario Kart World is 90 fucking euros

Switch 2 is priced in line with inflation, and note that the Switch 2 price hasn't gone up with tariffs, I think Nintendo priced it so that they wouldn't have to up the price with tariffs/inflation
It's a new console, Nintendo's support is good it's third parties that are letting things down, they really don't give a fuck about the fastest selling console of all time
Graphically the Switch 2 is fine, for Nintendo games, DK is a standout because it's a complex game, you play other games like it and watch performance shit itself, my PC can run other games 4k/60fps with ray tracing and other effects at max, 7 days to die shits itself hard when playing on my PC, and that games voxel system is nowhere near the complexity of DK Bananza, notice that Bananza can draw levels with any arbitrary shape or angle, other voxel systems can't do that, it's easily the most advanced of these games. The leading cause of joy-con drift is debris in the mechanism and that aspect has been fixed in both the pro and the joycons, how do people not get this aspect?

The reason the switch 2 is so expensive is not inflation, it's because they didn't cheap out on hardware like they did with the switch 1. Not so much the actual processor, the processor on the switch 1 was fine. The switch 1 was lacking in every other area, like storage space, screen quality, joycon build quality, the dock, the wifi adapter, etc. Everything except the processor was the cheapest price nintendo could find. The Switch 2 is much better in all these areas. They could have definitely done 400 dollars if they wanted, it just would have meant half the storage, no fan in the dock, shittier internet, etc.

I finally got mine after waiting a WHOLE FUCKING MONTH to get it on the MyNintendo store. Switch 2 is worth every cent. The console is great, the only problem is the LONG wait to get it.

In fact it's actually quite easy to see how quickly they sell from the comfort of your mother's basement. Just pick a brick and mortar store you can see the stock levels of online, and just check how many they have available every now and then. The number will bump up when they book in deliveries but if you see every time the number goes down you can see how quickly they're selling.

I'll even help you. I work for Smyths Toys here in Bongistan. At the moment stores get two deliveries per week, and it books onto the system at midnight the day it arrived. Go to the Smyths website, look up Switch 2s in a random store, and just keep checking back.

If you knew which retailers were selling Switch 2s in the UK and knew how many stores each outlet had you could get really bad spitball sales numbers for the entire UK. But it's easier to just be a Nintendo-fellating cunt on the internet, isn't it.
