No, Epistle 3 is not a good answer. The original HL2 was dark and depressing where it was hopeless even in victory, and the release version made the horror far more subtle but also gave you hope things could somehow be fixed.

However, that doesn't excuse the empty sandbox (random crooks to fight only appear next to collectibles and there's not even guns to play around with), the lackluster driving, and honestly the stupid boring dating miniquests. Normally I'd post F-Zero GX here, but there's always going to be that 1% chance that Nintendo revisits the franchise again.
Pic on the other hand was not only owned by a company that doesn't exist anymore, but there was a lawsuit that killed any interest in making another. And that's a fucking tragedy because not only is it a great game, but it ended with a god damn "To Be Continued..." cliffhanger.
