It's the most formulaic game in the series and instead of making an actual sequel to CS2 they just didnt this weird reboot where it's basically just a remake of CS1. It feels like it just kills the momentum for me. Rean finally starts to feel like an actual interesting character at the end of CS2 but CS3 just turns him into an actual retard.
