Marvel approached Arc about Tokon. I have a hard time believing Arc would greenlight the idea if they had any doubt that MvC4 was on the horizon. They may even have gotten a handshake promise that Disney won't go for MvC4 for a certain number of years.

If you meant what about a NEW physical card game, well, good luck. The physical TCG space is dominated by MtG, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon. They're just not gonna compete with that, especially since if it's a Marvel TCG it will definitely be compared to SNAP.

i would think it's fine if Sony sticks with only targeting PS5 and PC. MvC4 can target Switch 2, PS5, Xbox and PC with crossplay. Who knows when it could get revealed, maybe a Switch 2 direct or a Geoff Keighley event but I think they can coexist receiving content.
