Dog, Stopwatch, Mouse and Drake powers were a lot of fun. Especially the Drake one, I was surprised how well it worked.

There's not a lot to talk about because while the game has a phenomenal presentation, it's a very safe and standard gameplay experience. Much like other Sony games, the game mechanics are a vehicle to experience the world vs the entire point of the game.
And in this case it's not story driven it's just cool aesthetics
My goty for 2024 was ff7 rebirth, now that's a game worth talking about

Yeah, that's why it's good, all while adding and refining some unique additions of its own.
Now I Nintendo need to copy Astro Bot and create some actual boss fights, because the bosses in Bananza might be their worst yet.

It mostly wanks the days when Sony was actually good, but it is a bit jarring when you reach the Horizon or GoW Ragnarok levels which were clearly forced into the game by higher-ups

Most overrated game of the generation along with ghosts of tsushima and god of war 2018. The game is good but when people compare it odyssey or god forbid mario galaxy 1/2 they are fucking retarded. The game is very one dimensional. Level design is basic and the mechanics are always use exactly where the game wants you to use them. Thats not a bad thing its just very basic. Beyond collecting the nostalgia bots no one would give a fuck about this game. The fact that they sidelined sackboy whos games were actually somewhat innovative and had a much better design is a shame.

Is it though? Its pretty fucking sad how most of the characters are not even owned by sony lmao and they had to pad the game with third parties. They dont own metal gear, silent hill, tekken, street fighter, final fantasy, resident evil, castlevania, okami, crash, spyro etc.
