The big 3 see games in very different ways. Depending on how you see games is how you see the company and pick your favorite.

Games are toys. Good game is fun, bad game is not fun. Mario Odyssey is fun so its good Star Fox Zero is not fun so it isn't good.
>Playstation
Games are art/entertainment. Good game is engaging, bad game is not engaging. Last of Us has an engaging story so it is good. Despite Last of Us 2 having better gameplay the story is worse so people hate it.
>Xbox
Games are software. Good game has more features, bad game is missing feature.
Halo 3 has every feature you could want co-op, single player, multiple pvp modes, forge, etc. Halo 5 sucks it didn't even launch with big team battle wtf!

You show a sony game to a nintendo fan they reject it. Not because they are a blind fanboy it is because their priorities are different. That is why people though Helldivers 2 should be on xbox, Senua's Sacrifice should be on playstation, and Gravity Rush should be on nintendo. They fit better.
