Nomura is legally unable to let korby use a keyblade, but if he was legally able to let kirby use a keyblade kirby would easily have one. Keyblades are easy enough to make that an army of millions of children all had them.
Keyblades emerge from your heart when a keyblade master releases your potential. Kirby would have a strong keyblade of light.

As for the Monado, it's all about whatever Zanza wants in the moment, whether he makes the weapon reject a user, so there's no reason Kirby couldn't use it if he tried. And there's Alvis who can override Zanza's control and grant it to others. Him giving Kirby a Monado even sounds in character.

Not that i'm a KH lore autist but I thought the idea was that Ventus basically jump-started them with his power but after using it for a while they each became worthy of manifesting their own keyblades.
I'm probably wrong but I didn't think keyblades were actually physical things that you could trade. I know the old master in BBS gives his to aqua but I thought that was symbolic since she had one before that.

The Kingdom Key is a Special Keyblade drawn from the Hearts of Worlds in the Realm of Light (The same Hearts you were sealing the keyholes for in 1), the one Mickey gets is the Dark Worlds Counterpart.
Since so many worlds were getting consumed before the start of KH1 the collective will of said World send out The Kingdom Key as an panic attempt for be saved.
Originally it went to Riku because he had undergone the ceremony during BBS but because The Kingdom Key is on some level sentient, when Riku used it to let Destiny Islands be consumed it jumped ship to the closest person with strong light it could get, Sora.
Ironically Ventus has nothing to do with it until you get into the Roxas and Xion Syncblade stuff.

In kingdom hearts 1 Sora was borrowing Riku's keyblade until it permanently became sora's because the kingdom key has some degree of autonomy. After birth by sleep, everything relating to sora was using the keyblade sleeping in his heart that belonged to ventus because sora never went through the bullshit ceremony.

Presumably, yes. He went for the mark of mastery before that would elevate him from wielder to master, which implies he'd have gone through the official ceremony off-screen by that time and thus would actually have been allowed to formally inherit another master's blade.

Technically sora never forged his own keyblade he just has the kingdom key.
He has the potential to make another one but the process is unexplained.

at this point in the series sora's heart is at the level of a keyblade master and so acquainted with keyblades that it should be able to manifest it's own keyblade, in fact he probably is manifesting his heart's own keyblade when using dual form in KH3 since he no longer has ventus's heart within him

To be fair, it does make sense. Keyblades are chosen, or at least PASSED down the ability to wield someday (thanks BBS you FAGGOT). Kirby cannot copy abstract abilities like that, just what the main weapon can do. But the Monado can be forcibly activated through either ether or matching Zanza's wavelength, so Kirby CAN copy Shulk's wavelength which would allow him to use his copied Monado. And seeing how Monados CAN BE CREATED, this doesn't inherently create any obscene plotholes or implications.
