There SHOULD be legitimate benefits for keeping to a limited dex, i.e. resulting in higher quality models, textures, and animations, or more general integration of the included pokemon into the game for things such as mounts or other special interactions/uses. Taking it a step further. Non-cartridge games aren't "physical games". DVDs/Blu-rays are 40 cents worth of polycarbonate with the game data embedded into the bottom. Anything DVD or below is already grossly outdated tech. The equivalent of watching VHS tapes in 2012.

On top of that, the discs can't be updated and modern games release in an unfinished state. So that The Last of Us Xbox 360 Blu-ray you have can't even play the proper game, you still need online updates. If someone is blathering about "physical games" and their home doesn't look like the AVGN's game room, they're box collectors and nothing more.

I've always felt like ME2 would have been the perfect game to set up the crucible, with the main story focusing on you finding the plans instead of the human reaper retardation.
They were always gonna need a deus ex machina the way they wrote themselves into a corner with the reapers, but at least then it would have felt more earned and like less of an ass-pull.

MH has always been more of Monster FIGHTER than HUNTER.
The "hunting" aspect has never been done properly in any games in this franchise.
While the newer games do feel too automatic, the older games weren't actually any better since monsters were so robotic and simplistic you'd figure out their spawn locations after fighting them twice.

ME2 Legion at the end having destroyed the base: "...Your species was offered everything the Geth aspire to, true unity and understanding in transcendence. You rejected it, you even refused the possibility of using the Old Machines' to achieve on your species' own terms. You are more like us than we thought".

Fallout 4's artstyle is so monumentally bad that it manages to somehow look worse than the first generation Bethesda Fallouts, despite them being a console generation older, and not even looking good for PS3 games

This thing is actually fine.
It don't add input delay, and it werks.

However, i discovered that mine (that looks identical to this) only work with 720p.
It lists a shitload of resolutions including some pretty friendly to old devices, but it's all a lie and scaling.
Best way to get a sharp picture out of it is just to use 720p then integer scale to a resolution that is a bit lower than it. The overscan just makes it fit onscreen, and you get rid of most flicker shit.

The fraud David Cage and his games are prototypical examples of a "movie game" (Fahrenheit, beyond two souls, heavy rain, etc). MGS (especially 4) is the game with the longest uninterrupted cutscenes (total cutscene run time is well over 2 hours), and Uncharted 1/2 were among the first action-adventure walking-cutscene simulator games that nkw serve as the blueprint for a Sony AAA. All of these came out 2007-2012 era. TW3 in comparison barely comes close to the level of these other ones. The fuck are you even on about

The most retarded basic example is the one that also collapses your entire point: Open up any fucking game with an inventory system and look at the radial menu/simplified UI that caters to the lowest common denominator i.e. the limited input of controllers. From Call of Duty to the most basic indie games, the mere existence of consoles have shaped how a game is planned before any code was even written.

Stop adding multiplayer to single player games. It always sucks. Even if you have people to play with they'll never be online at the same time and your progression will get out of sync. Meanwhile the devs will spend all their time balancing exploits and griefing shit that wouldn't matter in single player. And one day they'll shut the servers down and the game will stop working.
