Then she went on hiatus until the final patch of Legion where she was re-introduced back with void powers.
That's a 20 year gap in screen time.
She then proceeds to do nothing of note after Argus until this expansion where they shoe-horn her because they wrote Sylvanas out in Shadowlands.

Because Sylvanas was still there and she buttfucked the Alliance in Southshore, Stromgarde, Andorhal, Silverpine and Gilneas simultaneously while Garrosh flailed like a retard and lost ground in Ashenvale and the Barrens.
