Nah. It's easily the worst of the big 3d Marios.
64, Sunshine, Galaxy, all games I've felt the urge to replay. Never Odyssey though. I played it, beat it and never cared to pick it up again.

I need to replay odyssey but I was very impressed 10 years ago or whatever it was. Anything Nintendo seems to cause infinite seethe among the thirdies of /v/ so good luck with the thread

I've been replaying it recently and I'm surprised just how much I'm enjoying it. I thought it wouldn't really hold up on replays but I'm actually having more fun this time now that I have a better grasp on the crazy movement tricks. >odyssey came out in 2017
What fuck, it still feels like a recent game to me.
bananza is more of an action-adventure platformer where you only platform sparingly, most of it is combat and terrain manipulation, odyssey is more platform oriented. The only thing they have in common is a dev team and their signature trademark 'tisms here and there like game progression, UI, etc.
