what were everyones expectations? I never cared about Dragons Dogma so I cant imagine what the hype was like. What justified the Bethesda/Rockstar-tier hype? What justified the sticky?

I bought a WiiU for the new Zelda years before it came out.

The major grip people have with DD2 is the endgame or last therefore.
First game had a hardmode and entire DLC post game location to explore.
DD2 has nothing, there is ng+ but enemies dont scale with it
