The predatory system of incentives that is usury demands that you are made and kept dependant. Imagine if there only existed few, lasting high-quality goods -- how could you maintain the illusion of representation? Any time someone enters the system a loan is issued, the "value" of money is reduced, everyone's means to repay their debt and interest are diminished -- everyone is incentivzed to scam each other out of their loans.

Money is not a currency, it's a vacous commodity. A commodity whose value is dependant on its supply and its demand, and that is yet valued in itself.
