Yeah it's good fun. It does feel more like COD now but tactical squad play is still king. No weapon restrictions is definitely a problem in the main modes though. I've just been running around as a Recon with a shotgun that gets a free UVA every few seconds, it's broken as hell and fun but it will be super annoying when the game has been out for a couple weeks and everyone is running bullshit builds

as a 2042 enjoyer with 1200 steam hours in that game, i am also turned off on how it feels so much like current day Black ops/MW games. Its not a high bar to reach but at least the maps are more alive, with a better atmosphere than 2042.

BC2 had the perfect unlock system. The only problem was the shitty perks (Magnum Ammo and Defense Armor were meta picks because MA was fucking unbalanced if you didn't have DA or MA to put yourself on an even level with the MA user): 10 hours MAXIMUM to unlock ALL guns and perks and then you're playing the game for FUN.

This, the more I play it the more I'd rather just play BF4. Only good thing about the game really is being able to drag teammates into safety while reviving and vehicles having limited ammo and not being able to turn their main turret around at mach 10 speed.

The damage is all over the place. Enemy is 20m away? You'll get him in 3 - 5 bullets. Enemy is 40 - 80m away? You'll have to spend 20 bullets to kill him. Not to mention the animations and overall speed of everything just makes it feel like I'm playing CoD. BF4 felt way smoother any stylistically appealing in comparison. It's also quite hard to identify enemies and spot them in the first place. Visibility is really bad. Maps are also really small and boring.

I think it's pretty good, my main gripes are the maps in the beta, the mountain map is what I consider to be a proper battlefield map with each point being it's own little unique area to fight over and dead zones between them. >large maps, game should be 40% vehicles, 60% infantry
>stamina gauge
>trying to play like a twitchy zoomer is punished with realistic ADS times, and stamina affecting ADS time

I don’t think i’ve had a single fucking fire fight in the beta, it’s just peak out and beam someone in the blink of an eye or you get beamed, but because the ttk is so fast no one wants to push out of cover so once a fight is over and you have the point it becomes an awkward waiting game. Until a tank rolls in which two shots you with the mg and takes fucking 6 rpgs to take out or 4 C4. Went back to BF4 to make sure it’s not just rose tinted goggles and it’s crazy how wrong 6 feels in comparison.
