Apparently live service games are going to drop their PS4 versions next year. There's going to cause a mass poorfag exodus to some other console, probably PS5 because of sunk cost on that ecosystem but maybe they'll go to PC, Switch 2, or Xbox instead.

I used to be a full console idort, but after seeing the direction consoles were going with the Xbox 360 and PS3 I held off on getting the next Xbox and Playstation and just got a Wii U.
I set a rule for myself where I wouldn't bother getting a console until it had 5 exclusive games I actually wanted to play so I could justify the initial cost of buying into the platform, and the PS4 and Xbone just never managed to have those 5 games, and the same thing applies to the PS5 and Series X.
Nintendo is at least still doing exclusives, though I was disappointed with the bulk of the Switch library being Wii U ports. I'm sure I'll eventually get a Switch 2 as well once it has a handful of cool looking exclusives.
For the last 10-15 years or so I've basically just been playing on PC because consoles forgot to have games.
