I want to believe he outgrew console wars in the timespan of eight years, or at the very least felt humbled when Playstation started giving middle fingers to the otaku market.

>>Everything else he said was and still is true.
Let's see how that doesn't hold up under scrutiny
>battery life issue
People accepted it, worked around it, and later on we got a die shrink that improved it dramatically to acceptable levels.
>720p in 2017 issue
Complete non-issue and 100% acceptable for a handheld device even in 2025. In fact it was a huge upgraded from either the 3DS or Vita's screens.
>shitty tenga processor issue
Tegra X1 was the absolute best available for its price, performance, and energy usage in 2017. Yes, there were more powerful SOCs, but they would have inflated the Switch's price to stupid levels if they used those.
>usual nintendo controller-design autism issue AGAIN
Switch controls were the most "back to basics" Nintendo ever did for new hardware. The only real issue with joycons as a traditional controller, aside from stick drift anyways, was the atrocious d-pad. Easily fixed with some simple shell/button mods.
>no 3rd party issue
Switch had very strong third party support so this is just flat out wrong.
>OVERPRICED issue
I mean if you don't like it, don't buy it but at launch $300 was objectively a good price for what you got.
Turns out not a single goddamn thing he said was even remotely true lol
