City of Heroes is a good example of OP's post. NCsoft suddenly sperged out and literally threw the studio out of their own building before they knew what the fuck was going on. Plenty of main and substories left on that that are never going to be known officially(unless you count homocoming as a continuation instead a branch fork.)

It's good, but not quite as good as the original. It's like a faithful fan fiction, which is the most anyone could ask for from a reboot. Dale's original VA not being able to properly do the voice anymore and his replacement for half the episodes is a bit jarring. Khan's VA being cancelled for not being asian and his replacement, who is asian, sounding like a really bad gneric asian impression is even worse though.

I don't know, I loved Shadowbringers' story. It was my favorite in any game, hell maybe even outside of gaming.
WoW never had anything special, all the "good" stories were just continuations of Warcraft 1-3 writing (eg Wrath), none of the original stuff was ever good.

I genuinely don't remember anything about GW2's story, OSRS has some fun little quests but none of the stories could ever be considered "great", and I don't remember any of the writing from any other MMOs I've played either.
So yeah I do agree it is 99% shit.

Hank as a handyman in retirement was perfect but then it was just a one-off episode.
Really the season should have started with hank fighting retirement in the first place since it fits his character really well.

my biggest gripe is just the humor not being nearly as sharp and characters like peggy and bill are still flanderized and unlikable. oh and the animation being cheap.
