I struggled with the character names in this game. Who's Bai Yu? The pinwheel guy is constantly talking about resurrecting him/her, but that's not the name of your brother or your father (iirc), and your sister's alive.
I got the "true" ending and I had no idea who the little girl on the boat was. I thought you only had one brother and one sister but maybe Bai Yu is a second sister, idk.

I enjoyed Lies of P and the DLC but I think people place it on too high a pedestal. It's not THAT good. It's a good game. However, the level design is lacking. Everything else about it is pretty good. Wuchang is also pretty good so long as you utilize what the game gives you, much like in Lies of P. I completed the DLC on NG+4 and Legendary Stalker difficulty.

The reason her memory was fading was because of her Inner Demon. Not from hitting her head. She was also trapped in an eternally cycling dream due to her obsession, hence the Demon of Obsession/Inner Demon. She didn't want to accept reality. The true ending is her accepting that she can't change fate and moving on.

You pretty much need evasive maneuver and put yourself where you're spamming evasive maneuver. Once you get 5 Skyborn Might's, you can use a spell. When using evasive maneuver, you also build biding time stacks which gives you Skyborn Might faster. I came in expecting yet another shallow chinkslop like wukong and wulong but there's genuine effort put into the level design here like old school souls used to have. Game is not as ballbusting as other people claimed imo but the boss runbacks are still pretty gay even with shortcuts and the knockdowns are actual aids, I admit. Wished there's stake of Marika thingies sometimes. All in all I feel this game is kind of a bit overhated due in part to awful optimizations which is fair, but I think most people just don't appreciate this flavor of souls anymore in a post Elden Ring world. Or maybe because it doesn't have the Fromsoftware logo when you boot it up.

She's one of the hardest bosses in the game. Her kick chains are all pretty telegraphed once you get used to them and if you're using the alacarity spells, Spear's dodge skill, or long sword's crescent skill you can just dodge them like you would her other attacks.

Yeah but you could say that about any game using the soulslike formula not made by Fromsoft. Of course it's not as good as the real thing.
I think the main criticism one could have of the combat, that it's rather repetitive and you kinda just use the same strategy on every enemy, applies to Sekiro as well.

My major gripes with the game were that a *lot* of the side stuff is just busywork. You spend the majority of your time with the game running around these two big open desert areas, and the main purpose of doing that is for sidequests to get nanosuits and the materials to make nanosuits. Nanosuits don't do anything, they're just skins. On top of that, you can just buy the materials from Kaya with all the gold you get from killing enemies so you don't really even need to collect the materials for suits. This makes a lot of chests you find redundant.
The equipment you get with stats on it is pretty rare and not typically a reward from side stuff.
And funny enough if you do everything you end up with more tumbler, sword and droid enhancements than you need to max everything out - they didn't expect people to actually go for a 100% run on New Game.

That said it was one of the two games I was really looking forward to this year and I liked it a lot despite its flaws. I think it's well worth playing for anyone who likes fanservice or souls-like action games.

You can go through chapter 4 without talking to storyteller and when you're done wind HongLenia then backup your save because Bo Magus is the next boss.
Return to Annalum.
Refuse to help, fight Bo Magus and get the ending.
Restore saves, agree to help and finish the game normally.
You'll have to fight Bo Magus twice this way but it's kind of inevitable.

There's also a thing you can do with the Steam Powered Spear you buy from the panda merchant where its skill will just flip humanoid enemies the other directions to line you up for a backstab.

I can elaborate. Lategame bosses are either feel like a chore if you go full "you did not beat the game", or become "elden ring with summons"-tier (which can be used as 'proper' way to play the game, for the sake of the same dumb argument) if you actually use the tools game gives you.
For example demon of obsession was seemingly supposed to be a difficult fight, but I basically kicked her on every engage without seriously considering her moveset. It was first attempt kill and I have no idea what she does, probably cycles trough different player-related spells?
And that approach was somewhat true for most of the lategame bosses. If I had to name a breaking point, it started with tiger.

No, Honglan is impossible after all. Maybe if you get lucky in the second phase but I'll never be lucky, as soon as the second phase start you just die from the relentless assault. You can't even health back and any mistakes takes half of your bar.

You have to essentially spam evasive maneuver and move into attacks until you get 5 feathers and then use magic until 1 feather then rinse and repeat. She shouldn't even be able to touch you unless you wait too long to be hit. Evasive maneuver only lasts like 2 seconds

The two games are very different. Combat wise Wuchang is fast paced, iframe based aggro gameplay. AI LIMIT is much slower paced with kind of a stamina bars, parries, blocking and the like. It's more traditional souls in that sense.
The worlds are completely different. Wuchan's is a fantasy china version gone too shit while AI LIMIT is a pretty bleak post apocalyptical sci-fi setting.
