My prebuilt W10 PC, that I then upgraded into it's current setup, didn't even have secure boot enabled until like right now. And I couldn't even just toggle it on. I needed to create system keys aka probably some flimsy system with a backdoor. Obviously it didn't have TPM enabled either.

I am personally unenthused by it. I played 3 matches last night and.... while I had fun, I wasn't blown away or anything. And Battlefield has completely lost its identity now. In another timeline, DICE kept working on BF3 as their base and building the game higher and higher and even incorporating the map destruction of BF:BC2 into it. More vehicles, more destruction, satisfying shooting, lots of customization (like in BF4). That old Battlefield is dead and gone.

This shit is just some kind of COD clone with a higher lobby count. I still prefer it to COD (love me the big team battles) but....... eh.

At least it's not as faggy as BF2042? Idk. That's about the only good thing I can say. But there's still black women and chinkoid women running around the map playing soldier (just fucking kek)

We need bigger maps with more air vehicles. I don't even like flying. But it's retarded seeing your friendly jet or chopper and then you hear another one in a different direction and know for a fact it's the enemy one, it just doesn't sit well with me.

Funny I said the same thing when they changed game engines from the old style Battlefield games, 1942, BF2, BF2142, BFVietnam and then BF3 was the first using a brand new Frostbite game engine and it was ok but just didn't feel as good.

You could control battleships, submarines and aircraft carriers in BF1942 it has never been the same since those halcyon days of old.

You could also control Titans in BF2142, floating aircraft carrier, there were mech walkers, orbital drop pods and drop pods launched from apcs.
You could assault an enemy Titan and blow it up from the inside which would give you a win condition but it was difficult and had layered defences.

I would add in Red Faction: Guerrilla destruction and some larger player count/vehicle modes but yeah otherwise it was pretty great. Its what makes buying BF6 hard, because fundamentally its just a bad version of older BF games and rewarding the devs for doing the bare minimum seems counter productive.
