not really, Strive wallbreaks might have been a good idea if it was implemented differently, it was far from the first game to ever let you smash someone through a barrier at the edge of the stage
The problem is that it was supposed to be a limiter on offence, it is explicitly an anti-fun mechanic that is deliberately designed to take options away from the person doing offence, with the hope that it would make being on defence enough more fun to make up for it, the total happiness in the match would increase despite the wall stealing your knockdown, but it doesn't
Maybe in a different game that would have worked out, but Strive is not that game. The damage is so high that after a midscreen hit, corner combo, super and bonus wallbreak damage your opponent is usually one touch from death anyway, and you get a hard knockdown into meaty off the super wallbreak anyway, and with Positive Bonus and the way Strive's pressure works in general blocking a midscreen safejump is just as bad as a corner setup was in the previous game anyway.
As far as I can tell, Tokon never forces you to wallbreak, except maybe on throws in the corner and I wouldn't be surprised if you could prevent that by throwing them into a properly timed assist or something, all the other wallbreaks are optional if you think the rewards are worth returning to neutral.
