ALL SORTS OF SOFTWARE CAN CRASH YOUR COMPUTER, it doesn't have to be le kernel level software.

And being "kernel level software" is not a big deal. You have hundreds of kernel level softwares installed in your PC right now. Every driver you have is kernel level software, are people going to argue that your GPU drivers or your mouse drivers are an entry point or what?
