The gameplay is for an extremely niche subset of autist who thinks every step you take and every sword swing you make should require non renewable stamina you have to grind resources to replenish. I don't want survival crafting levels of grind for an adventure game.

I really like how ugly and gritty the game is. Most of the h-scenes you don't want to see or if you do then don't really happen to lona.
It's more of a voyeur thing and you just try to get by. The action combat isn't great but it puts an artificial barrier to the combat that makes you feel that you are weak and makes the loss condition even that much scarier.
It's really a breath of fresh air to all those happy go fuck around games where you jump on dick you see doing a peace sign + ahego face.
