PewDiePie is a racist piece of shit who's made a career out of mocking and belittling people from other cultures, especially Indians, for cheap laughs.

There's something seriously gross about how he constantly targets Indians in his jokes and content. The T-Series feud wasn't just internet drama. It was a full on campaign where he encouraged millions of his fans to ridicule India. And the peak of that campaign was his song "Bitch Lasagna", which was basically just a string of racist stereotypes about Indian people dressed up as a joke. He's made it clear that Indians are fair game for ridicule as long as it gets him views.

His fans try to brush it off like "oh it was just a meme war" but it wasn't. It was a Western millionaire rallying his fanbase to mock a country where poverty is widespread and opportunities are limited. And instead of taking real responsibility, he just offered half assed apologies and kept cashing the checks.

It's easy to laugh at people's struggles when you've never faced them. Coming from Sweden, living in luxury, PewDiePie has no understanding of what economic desperation looks like in places like India. Telling people to "just get a better job" or mocking the country's infrastructure isn't edgy, it's ignorant.

He went after an entire country and culture and it's all for some ad revenue and winning bullshit internet war.

The main hurdle according to Valve is getting people off Nvidia. Linux only games well on AMD and they refuse to make a Steam OS for desktop until nvidia drivers are fixed. But Nvidia's marketshare is still growing, so linux is doomed.

What's the point of switching to Linux for a normie? It doesn't do anything better than Windows does for your average user.

Short answer, to free up processing and memory bloat. Windows have been restricting what processes you can and can't uninstall directly through the gui. You can do some backdoor work by going into the registry and edit, but #1, as you said, this is not something the normies user knows how to or wants to take the time to learn how to do, and #2 all changes done by the user will just get reversed on the next forced update.

Many Linux distro also let's you set up an environment that looks and acts exactly like the Windows OS you're comfortable with (XP, 7, 10 etc.).

Having to deal with this is not remotely as bad as wanting to install a simple feature in Linux and it being needlessly convoluted or the software no longer being supported / outdated.

Call me when I can easily set up programs such as Afterburner+Rivatuner, HWinfo, Fan Control, etc. on Linux. People swear by Linux as the ideal OS for gaming, but those things alone make Windows easily the superior choice for me.
