People find more generic & trendy stuff or memes and shitposts and the like more relatable, and in turn they resonate with them more. People are more willing to like and share something funny and easy to consume.
Complex drawings may be more technically impressive, but if the subjects of those drawings aren't something that many people are going to relate to, you're going to get less engagement. Complex drawings also have much more to consume in them, and some people aren't going to bother doing that and just scroll past.
Do keep in mind that social media engagement is a lottery, and even if your post didn't get much engagement, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't do what you want to do or that there isn't an audience for what you want to do.

Loomis did for me what it genuinely set out to do. It taught me that I can also learn to draw. Then I stopped learning the loomis method and started just copying artists I liked and eventually things started clicking. I watched tutorials, read about how other people grew as artists, and I study anatomy as I find my knowledge lacking.

Ultimately though Loomis was great for that one tiny little push to convince me that I'm not so retarded that I can't draw, and now I can draw this. It isn't great but this time last year I couldn't draw at all, so I think this is terrific for me.

I remember a few points drawfags talked about before, try putting yourself in situations where urgency is important like interactive events like drawpiles and gartic phone, they'll naturally force you to optimize your workflow. Keep in mind when you're drawing too everything doesn't need 100% refinement and detailing, save it for important focal points like faces and don't be afraid to leave your comfort zone and get sloppy and messy with everything else, you don't need much to gesture and hint to the viewer what the illustration is about. I've heard some say they skip their lineart phase entirely and just stick with refining their sketches instead. You might want to try other brushes or painting to break up your workflow, you might be boxing yourself into a corner with your binary, pixel pen, lineart heavy style.

Otherwise most of it is just practice, practice, practice.

A quick guide to my process here. I start with a top and bottom line so I can control the proportions. Then I divide that to include the head, torso, and legs. Next, using green, I drew what was a stick figure with a box for a torso. Boxes are easy to visualize turning in space, it gives you a lot more granular control over the angle your characters twist and how their heads tilt and roll around. Third, I drew in the other details since what I did in step 2 was enough for me to go off of. I also added a little cross in the head shape so I can position the eyes without any guess work. Step 4, clean up, in this case just the face.

I consider myself a perfectionist as well and I do get frustrated with my art, but it also makes me happy. The feelings are very much a roller coaster. I’ve been drawing forever and my life is constantly full of stressors. When I sit down and draw, it kind of quiets everything for me, so I use it as a breather. I wouldn’t call it laziness (you would not have made such amazing progress if it was true laziness). I think it’s more self doubt and confidence issues. It mostly stems from comparing yourself to others or the perfectionism. To me, your art looks awesome! The face is cute, the line work is super clean, the staff has depth/heft , and the posing lively yet demure. If I had to nitpick anything it would just be hands, but that gets better with time and they are probably the trickiest things to draw.

Keep it up. I recommend going for bit more cleaner lineart with more variation of the width and strength. The biggest problem with your line art is that it at some places ends abruptly and when it happens at key points like her front boot's rim, it leaves a an unfinished feel. After rendering I myself usually go a round solely strengthing and cleaning up the line art, adding thickness where it's needed for weight and dynamic and balance. I whole heartedly support you streamlining your work and working faster, but I do also recommend giving nice clean finishing touches.

Also about resolution. When people browse on their PC, the max size of pic they can see in one go is max 1000 wid and height. I recommend you to downscale your pics to that size unless their content warrants for scrolling (comics, high level details). Now with 2000x4000 size it opens up so big that the shoddiness of your line art is even more evident and the zoomed in details and background effects don't really warrant that high resolution.
