eh towards the end of the game it sorta goes into a stealth/gunplay. The last two levels, Border Patrol and Key Surveillence, do this well IMO despite being hard as shit. If you played on Fetish Mode you didn't beat the game. Also I like Manhunt 1 over 2 by a mile but its still a cool sequel in a way. that is all.

It keeps the game fresh. It's exciting because it's still not a generic third person shooter. The enemies literally cheat and will shoot frame one of them technically being able to see you even if it doesn't look like they can. You're still playing cat and mouse. 10 out of 10 game.

Whenever you ask "why the fuck did X game switch style midway?" 95% of the time the answer is that they noticed playtesters got bored and they needed to change up the gameplay to keep player interest
>will shoot frame one of them technically being able to see you even if it doesn't look like they can
I don't know what you're talking about, but I know that the AI will mag-dump into shadows that they "think" you're hiding in, you probably just got unlucky.

one fun thing about this game is that if you have a 360 and play the OG xbox version on it the environmental audio will come from the speakers but in order to hear the voiceover from Brian Cox you have to plug in the 360 headset and only his voice audio comes through that. really immersive.
>>718038998 >cutscenes showing how the cops are only even going after you because they're being told a rampaging hobo is loose in the city only because starkweather probably has an insane amount of dirt on the begrudgingly cooperating police chief
god i loved how absolutely dreadfully and violently shit the society of carson city is depicted as in manhunt
>>718041114 >starting gang of the Hoods is said to contain a decent amount of Carcer City beat cops using the set as an opportunity to kill in-between their regular hobo beatings >The Wardogs are made of up weekend soldiers, Elmer Fuds and Vietnam war vets just to looking for an excuse to go all out
The fact that a GTA hasn't been set in that shithole city yet is a feat in itself. You have some good story telling potential there if you just put your mind to it.
