I was playing through the game and thought it was a least okay up to that point. Got to the crossdressing part, the crossdressing itself was not too bad and I expected it based on the first game.
Then it got to the club scene where cloud is dancing with the obvious gay dude and I was just cringing the whole time.
After that I decided it was enough playing for the day, said I would pick it up later and continue.
Never did. It was like it instantly sapped all motivation to keep playing the game out of me and I usually have a decent tolerance for this shit.

I feel genuine physical revulsion at what they did to Final Fantasy VII in the name of a "Remake".
I think I'd actually be okay with it if it was called something else, like Final Fantasy VII Alternative.

But when I see all the people who say "I never played Final Fantasy VII, and I'm excited to check out the remake!", I just feel sick to my fucking stomach. These poor people will never know what was taken from them.
