If that’s your purpose to help a community or doom them all the extinction, no you wouldn’t. And nobody wants to play as a character who acts like a guy, swears constantly like she’s a Vivziepop character, and has a completely bipolar attitude toward her own child and actively resists wanting to help anyone. She is a modern Marvel female lead.

And those birds are treated as actual joke characters. There’s a fucking room filled with a meeting of those pacifist birds that exists solely so you can slaughter them for big combos. Laika literally says “all birds are bastards” at one point (again, more of the devs inserting their political stances), and she continues to act like a cunt even to one who actively tries to help you, so you’re not allowed to be sympathetic to their cause at all.

Well it’s not the husband that dies and gets bitched out while he’s bleeding to death. It’s not the village leader who exists to be a “MALE RULER BAD” strawman. It’s not the traitor dog who has one of the lamest, most predictable reveals in the game. It’s not the little boy who keeps making Among Us references. It’s not the father who you are encouraged and “justified” in killing because his runaway daughter’s diary says he assaulted her. Which one’s the good male character again?
