I guess that's not a bad thing from my perspective since i've never played either of these series. Starting with CoE seems like a good option then.

That is a bit sad to hear however. I kinda imagined it'd be a fun clusterfuck where you'd constantly have to deal with demonic hordes ravaging the lands or other nonsense, basically the world being as much of a threat as the other "players", i just like that trope, but i guess i'll see how that works for myself.

I mean, i really just wanted to know if the ai can still kick your ass sometimes even if you're already experienced with the game's systems. That part is somewhat important for me since as i said, i seldom play multiplayer so the ai being just so-so would be a bit of a boomer.

Same. I predict it'll just get implemented in a barebones state and get further updates way later. Though, since modding is way easier now, just the groundwork for the mechanic being implemented might be enough for someone else to expand on it, guess we'll have to wait and see.
