Knaifu from Legion is planning to take Azeroth's power or something. The story of TWW basically didn't matter because by the end everything looped around to where no one was better or worse off than where they started. It makes more sense when you realize that TWW was more or less scrapped and then reworked to be a filler expansion. Good expansion though outside of the story, very fun.

At the beginning of the expansion Knaifu had a powerful artifact called The Dark Heart. We didn't know what she was doing with it (still don't, really) but it seemed to involve fucking over Azeroth. Some bullshit happened in TWW, the artifact got broken, then it was lost to her enemies, and then at the very end she gets it back (and it is seemingly more powerful than ever, but that doesn't really matter since we never knew how powerful it was to begin with). Now she's going back after Azeroth. The story really only mattered to a bunch of side-factions like the Goblins in Undermine, or the Ethereals. The main characters basically just got reset back to where they were at the start of TWW.

Lightforged Draenei Warlocks are even worse for me than some regretful Man'ari. Like it makes some kind of sense that there would be some Man'ari looking to rejoin their people after the Legion fell, and it's not like everyone signed up to be a part of the Legion anyway, most Eredar were in the no position to run off with the Naaru when the shit went down. After a tense standoff, the past ties of the Windrunner family and the Sunstriders wins through and a temporary pact is formed: the Forsaken will join their group as a means of vengeance against Arthas. A band of misfits and monsters, bound loosely by shared experience, each with their own interests that breeds a sense of paranoia towards the others.

No they didn't... what? The Void Form? That's always been one of the main racials (the other being no pushback on spellcasting and a teleport). The hair? Absolutely, they do not have Blood Elf hair styles, they only have some custom shit made for them which is all emo or nuGoth. There's one male hairstyle that is decent. Allied Races in general (outside of the tranny dragons) have much more limited customization options than regular races.
