For all you guys against "muh censorship", why haven't you devoted yourself to learning Japanese to play games in their native language? You're still relying on a localizer or translator if you don't play the game in its native language.

They haven't fully, but "fanservice" scenes are much more rare than they used to be in the average anime, and some directors and artists have voiced concerns about overseas influence rising.
They've been continuously lied to by "localizers" and "translators" telling them what they do is wrong, that it won't sell well over seas, etc etc. And they believe them sadly.
There some seem to be some growing sentiment starting push back against it though, so I haven't lost all hope yet.
