example of the abusive fog is when you use let's say, more flat map designed for gigantic fights (the UA maps with aposomething tag, or custom, big flat maps like space platform)
then you get some rules out. Here it can crash so don't go full +400 cap. Just something like +100 and build up to that cap. Bot infantry and vehicles
You can try using sandbox rule so you can switch between players and setup your enemy with same caps
make sure you have various size of units, witht he biggest being maybe warhound titan. No need to go reaver warlord or imperator
When trying to move these units to battle, multiple problems should already occur to you
when you get those 2 armies to fight, when you use custom cmera angles, the fog prevents you from seeying whole battlefield
furthermore, if you reset camera angle via backspace, you suddenly notice that your max zoom out got reduced
the fog, that was in original DoW, was there to limit the display jsut like the old turok game. This should not be the case now, yet it is. You can notice that half of you army durning a fight is not visible at all outside health bars
checked this on titanium and UA. Didn't check on rest but it's the same issue and i doub that Unification or crucible dealt with fog somehow
