so none of these horses have won a race, and you can buy any of them for $100K. (basically claiming races you are putting the horse up for sale as a condition of entering the race, to keep people from entering horses that are too good for the competition, nobody wants someone giving them $100K for a horse worth $10M)

Yes it's based on the horses IRL career so some horses run races that are easier to deal with them others.

This what I had heard about horses in the past: that they are very scaredy and that's why some of them have to wear what is basically hearing protection or earplugs. Then some people here claimed that they're for protection against bugs. But what do I know.

Some Anon previously mentioned he was surprised to see some many horse getting Scratched from races, is that uncommon? I've only watched along Anons here for like a week or so and it seemed like a common occourrence to have at least a couple of them each race. Yesterday was brutal with the rain, one race went from something like 10 or 12 down to 4 because of the conditions, and then during the warmup one of the horses got nervous and scraped his knee and had to forfeit because of the rules so only 3 honses raced.

FF anon here, my network provider has a DNS block on files.catbox.moe but not the main site which I have known about for a long time. Unfortunately even with a VPN / new DNS adress does the static exist, although I suspect it's because of low bandwith or something since the audio in rare cases clears up and becomes good enough to follow along for a second or two. Thank you for looking into it though! Luckily it doesn't really affect me since I mainly browse boards where soundposting is extremelly rare and posting a link straight to carbox is the norm.

Always check the uma's stats, aptitudes and the races that are part of her career before starting. Some uma's careers are perfectly geared to them (Bakushin being the best example) while others can be tricky if you didn't get proper parents. I got Bourbon early on and it catched me off-guard because she starts with three Mile races despite only having B on Mile and at some point you start doing Long races while also having B on Long so I ended up losing a lot. Turns out that her career, just like all the others, is based on the real horse's so that's the reason why some are more challenging than others
