Well and truly bored of gaming. I have specific tastes and most of the general design trends (or standards of quality in some areas when it comes to multiplayer functionality or whatever) I like have died off, or if games are still doing them they were better done in earlier entries. I've played all the shit I do like to death to the point where I'll boot it up, zone out for 10 minutes and then come back realising I just don't care.
Is this just part of being a NEET? Realising this shit doesn't matter and more and more games are designed to be pure, hollow timewasters with nothing of substance behind them?

Games take a long time to make, takes even longer for an actual good game that you subjectively really enjoy and can lose yourself in almost like its your new reality.
If the idea is to consume everything then expect another game to be there when you're done you might be waking up to the fact that its not the case.
Being a neet helps nothing but you can still not live like a degen if you do and actively do something else with your time, gaming enjoyment drops over time regardless of what you do. Get the most out of the games you love, mod them, find communites around them then go touch grass.
