For this particular game, the devs created a grimdark story that pictures the fall of the ming dynasty (real chinese) and while the story itself only portrays the collapse and nothing else a group of online chinkoids got extremely buttmad and review bombed the game to 20% because there's a few bosses in the game based on historical figures
